National Franciscan Pilgrimage, Sunday June 30th 2024

We are delighted to welcome the National Franciscan Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine on Sunday June 30th

The Franciscan Province of Ireland is part of the world-wide Franciscan Order present in 120 countries with some 13,000 friars. The wider Irish Province includes the Custody (Region) of the Good Shepherd in Zimbabwe and the Custody of the Immaculate Conception in Great Britain. The order is inspired by the life of St. Francis of Assisi.

2pm: Rosary

2.30pm: Anointing of the Sick

3pm: Concelebrated Mass at Knock Parish Church

Chief Celebrant: Fr Michael Duffy OFM Cap

Homilist: Fr Ailbe O’Murchu OFM

Choir: Una Nolan 

Mass will be followed by Eucharistic Blessing and Outdoor Rosary Procession (weather permitting)
