Witnesses Walk – 21st August

A Witnesses’ Walk will take place on Monday 21st August, the anniversary of the Apparition at Knock and also known as the Feast of Our Lady of Knock.

To mark this special day, the Witnesses’ Walk will take place to give recognition to all of the witnesses. The walk will begin at 7pm outside the Confessional Chapel and will follow a short route around the village and Shrine, pausing at key points for prayer. It will end with a minute’s silence at 8pm in the Apparition Chapel prior to the Novena evening ceremony.

All are welcome to attend the walk which will be approximately 2km (1.2 miles).

This event is part of the celebrations taking place at Knock Shrine for the National Novena to Our Lady of Knock and for the official launch of the World Meeting of Families 2018 programme.
