Day Retreats at The Prayer Centre

Take time out  for yourself and join us for a day of quiet prayer and reflection to nourish your heart and soul in the light of the Good News. Come away feeling refreshed, having taken time to reflect on your life and listen to the Word of God.

This Spring, we offer you three Day retreats with engaging and inspirational facilitators. You can also take the opportunity for some  some one to one conversations with one of our Prayer guides to gain a deeper awareness of God’s presence with us always.

Saturday 30^th March:         ‘She has done what she could….’

‘She has done what she could: she has anointed my body beforehand for its burial ’(Mk 14:8)

It is such a comfort to hear that we have done all we could in a difficult situation. We are invited to listen, explore, pray and enter more deeply into the mystery of the Passion Narrative as revealed through the anointing of Jesus by a nameless woman. This will be done through guided meditation, input, quiet time and ritual.There will also be an opportunity of a one to one conversation with one of the Prayer Guides to facilitate the process further and enable the graces of the day to translate into ordinary living.

Saturday 27^th April:             ‘Finding God in the Mess’

In the busyness and messiness of life we can often get the feeling of being disconnected from ourselves and even from God, as if God could only be with us if, and when, we straighten everything out. However, the good news is that God is with us in the mess and we can adopt principles of living that enable us to find God in the mess. To explore this further, join us in Knock for a day of quiet reflection. With guided meditation, time to listen and reflect.Take the opportunity of a one to one conversation with one of our Prayer Guides to gain a deeper awareness of God’s presence with us always.
