An afternoon talk on the theme ‘Finding hope after death and loss’ will take place in The Family Centre, Knock Shrine, Co Mayo, on Sunday, November 15, at 3pm.
The talk will be delivered by Monica Morley, director of The Family Centre at Knock. It will cover how to journey through the stages of loss and grief and find peace anew with life.
Numbers will be limited to 40 (as space allows) so booking in advance will be essential.
The Family Centre is also starting a new weekly bereavement support meeting on Wednesday, November 4, at 11am
The weekly bereavement support group will be an opportunity for those who feel the burden of grief and who would like to feel supported by others who know the experience. The group will meet for an hour of sharing, chat and discussion.
The group will be facilitated by trained leaders and will include a short prayer time to remember all those who have died.
