The 43rd Annual All Night Vigil is taking place at Knock Shrine, Co Mayo, on December 7th and 8th.
Thousands of faithful from all over the country are expected to travel to Knock to take part in the vigil through the night, which starts on the eve of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.
The main celebrant is the Archbishop of Tuam, Dr Michael Neary.
The Vigil also coincides with the opening of the Jubilee Year of Mercy and Archbishop Neary will officially launch the Year of Mercy during the Vigil.
The programme for the All Night Vigil includes Confessions in the Chapel of Reconciliation; Rosary, Candlelight procession; Holy Hour and Stations of the Cross.
The vigil concludes with a concelebrated Mass at 4am in Our Lady’s Basilica.
