Fans of choral music are in for a treat next Thursday (December 17) at the Parish Church in Knock, when two local choirs come together for the annual Christmas carol service.
The candlelight carol service starts at 8pm and all are welcome to go along.
Directed by Knock Shrine’s Úna Nolan, Knock Parish Choir and Knock Junior Choir will be singing many firm favourites at what is always a much anticipated annual event.
“It is a lovely, uplifting start to the Christmas festivities,” outlined Ms Nolan. “The choirs work very hard to make this a special evening and we are, as always, really looking forward to filling the Parish Church with the wonderful music of Christmas.”
Refreshments will be served after the carol service in St John’s Rest & Care Centre and all are welcome to attend.
