We are delighted to announce the programme for this years All-Night Vigil at Knock Shrine.
The All-Night Vigil is a long-standing tradition at Knock Shrine. Beginning on the eve of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, we invite you to join with us once again for this special night of prayer. This is a significant feast day, when we celebrate Mary’s Immaculate Conception; the fact that Mary was, from the very first moment of her existence, without sin, and chosen to be the Mother of Jesus.
10pm – Midnight: Confessions in the Chapel of Reconciliation
Midnight – 12.30am: Rosary
12.30am – 1am: Introduction from Fr. Declan Lohan followed by a testimony from a Member of the Cenacolo Community, Knock.
1am – 1.30am: Stations of the Cross
1.30-2am Break for private prayer
3am – 3.30am Prayer Reflections
3.30 – 4am Break for private prayer
4am Vigil will conclude with Mass at 4am
Our Mass offices will remain open until Midnight on Wednesday 7th December.
St John’s Welcome Centre will also remain open for pilgrims, offering tea/coffee and a space to take some respite. St John’s is equipped with public toilets, including toilets for the disabled and parking spaces for disabled.
Wheelchairs can also be hired from St John’s for those in need of one.
The opening times for Mass Offices & St John’s Welcome Centre during the All-Night Vigil are as follows:
9am to 5pm
8pm until Midnight
The Vigil will be live-streamed online on the Knock Shrine website . All are welcome.
