This Saturday, July 8th, we welcome the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate for their annual pilgrimage to Knock Shrine. St. Eugene de Mazenod founded the Oblates in France on January 25th in 1816.The Oblates came to Britain in 1841 and to Ireland in 1856. Almost 5,000 Oblates work in more than 60 countries. The Oblates focus on befriending the poor, abandoned and marginalised.
