The Augustinian Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine takes place this Saturday, July 20th. The Augustinian Order arrived in Ireland in the 13th century. The Augustinians are a fraternity of Priests and Brothers who live and work in 10 locations around the country. The Order has communities in many countries around the world where they serve the Church in a variety of ministries. The most fundamental message of the Rule of St. Augustine is
“Love – Love of God, Love of neighbour- it is the centre of Christian life”
