When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us…”

We welcome you to celebrate Christmas at Knock Shrine, a special time to gather and give thanks to God for all that is good in our lives. During this sacred time, when we remember the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are reminded of that beautiful scene of the Nativity in all its simplicity.

Love, togetherness, and rejoicing are the things He wants from us. Slow down and take in what is around you. Attend Mass and rediscover the glory of the season!

It is not necessary to book in order to attend Mass at Knock Shrine over the Christmas period.

Christmas Eve, Friday 24^th December

Parish Church:   9am

Basilica:                12 noon, 3pm, 7.30pm (Rosary at 7pm) and Midnight

Christmas Day, Saturday 25^th December

Basilica:                10am & 12 noon

Saint Stephen’s Day, Sunday 26^th December

Basilica:               10am, 12 noon & 3pm (Rosary at 2.30pm)

Mass times from Monday 27^th – Friday 31^st  December     

Basilica:               12 noon &  3pm

The 7.30pm Mass (with Rosary at 7pm)  will resume in the Parish Church on New Year’s Eve, Friday 31^st December

New Years Day, Saturday 1st Jan 2022

Parish Church:   9am

Basilica:    12 noon, 3pm & 7.30pm (Rosary at 7pm)

Confessions

Confessions will close at 3pm on Christmas Eve and reopen on Friday 31^st December from 11am-3pm.
