Knock Shrine’s 2016 calendar available now at The Bookshop

The 2016 Knock Shrine calendar is now available from The Bookshop. 

The theme for this year’s calendar is ‘Witness To Hope’ and it is dedicated to the many ordinary people whose tireless work and dedication at Knock plays a crucial and meaningful role in the preservation and maintenance of Ireland’s National Marian Shrine for all visitors and pilgrims, both now and into the future.

The calendar features a unique collection of large, colour photographs from the pilgrimage seasons of 2014 and 2015.

The images were selected to demonstrate the variety of faith-focused programmes taking place at Knock Shrine.

The calendar includes beautiful photographs of the refurbished Basilica; the Knock Shrine Society handmaids and stewards; the Catholic Grandparents Association; the altar servers during the National Novena; Knock Youth Ministry, special Masses, and the re-creation of the ‘Witness Walk’ in 2014.

The calendar also includes all Catholic feast days, major Knock pilgrimage dates and other important days and events at Knock Shrine during the year.

It costs €5 and would make an ideal Christmas gift for family and friends.
