Mass of Acknowledgment for Archbishop Neary

On Sunday 5th December at 12 noon in the Basilica we will have a special Mass acknowledging the retirement of Most Rev. Michael Neary, Archbishop of Tuam. We will take this time to remember all of the work he has done, his many contributions over the years as his time as Archbishop, as well as the generosity, kindness and support he has shown over the years.

Knock Shrine holds a very special place in his heart, and as the Custodian of Knock Shrine, he has always served it with great devotion and dedication.

Archbishop Michael will be the chief celebrant on the day. We give thanks to God for having known them and I’ve no doubt Archbishop Michael will continue to be a support to the
Shrine even in retirement.
