We welcome the Diocese of Limerick to Knock Shrine this Saturday. The Diocese is a community of 60 parishes. It’s geographical area comprises the greater part of County Limerick, part of County Clare and one town land in County Kerry.
St. Eugene de Mazenod founded the Oblates in France on January, 25th 1816, with the first Oblates arriving in Ireland in 1856. Today, over 400 Oblate priests and brothers can be found in more than 60 countries. Oblates exercise diverse ministries seeking to dedicate themselves to the poor, abandoned and marginalized.
