The Pioneer Association Pilgrimage will take place on Sunday, July 21st. This pilgrimage has a long association with Knock Shrine, with the first Pioneer pilgrimage taking place here in 1954. The aim of the Pioneer Total Abstinence Association of the Sacred Heart is the promotion of sobriety and temperance.

 

The 3pm Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Tom Deenihan, Bishop of Meath. The visiting choir is Rathfeigh Parish Choir, who celebrate the 150 years of the parish church in Rathfeigh, Co. Meath.

 

Schedule of Ceremonies

 

 

2pm: Rosary

2.30pm: Anointing of the Sick

3pm: Concelebrated Mass at Knock Basilica

Mass will be followed by Eucharistic Blessing & Outdoor Rosary Procession (Weather permitting)
