Wheelchairs can be requested at the Shrine Security office, which is located adjacent to St. John’s Rest & Day Care Centre for use throughout the grounds.
Facilities at St. John’s Welcome Centre are available to visiting groups and pilgrims with special requirements. This service must be reserved in advance of your arrival. Please contact the team at (094) 93 88100, extension 136 for bookings.
The complimentary shuttle service is available daily at Knock Shrine to assist people who have limited mobility or difficulty walking.
The shuttle is available upon request, just ask at any of our offices or check with member of staff.
Knock Basilica has an area of seating at the front of each chapel for those using wheelchairs. Disabled toilets are available within the Shrine grounds in the main public toilets, at Knock Museum and in the Basilica.
