The popular day of reflection, Quiet Days for Busy People, will run again on March 5th as part of Knock Shrine’s new series of faith renewal events for spring/summer 2016.
The prayer and reflection day, at the Prayer Guidance Centre, was first introduced last October and it has been a great success so far with very positive feedback from participants.
The day is part of Knock’s faith renewal series, which aims to provide people with the opportunity to explore, strengthen and deepen their faith through a diverse series of retreats, workshops and seminars.
Quiet Days invites people to take some time out for themselves to discover new life in the heart of the Gospels and to experience prayer, which like love, is learned by doing.
As the name suggests, it is a quiet day of prayer and reflection, aimed at spiritual rejuvenation and renewal.
The retreats are led by the experienced prayer guidance team at Knock Shrine.
The day costs €30, which includes lunch at Knock House Hotel.
The day starts at 9.45 pm and concludes at 3.45pm.
The programme includes two prayer sessions and a ‘growing in reflectiveness’ session. It also includes a ‘harvesting the day’ session.
Booking is advised.
