Staff Required at Café Le Chéile

Café Le Cheile, Knock currently requires a Kitchen Assistant to work within our Kitchen

Main duties will include:

• To prepare food in the Still Room including sandwiches and salads
• To ensure all food is prepared and presented to a high standard
• To maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene & food safety
• To comply with all Health & Safety Regulations

The ideal Candidate

• A friendly, professional personality with excellent customer service skills
• Will have experience working in a busy stillroom or food preparation area
• Have the ability to meet hygiene and HACCP requirements.

Please note that this position involves weekend work. Flexibility is required

Café Le Cheile, Knock currently requires a experienced Kitchen Porter

As a kitchen porter you will be required to complete the menial tasks in a kitchen including duties such as cleaning, washing up and waste disposal

• Carrying out basic cleaning tasks as fast as possible.
• Collecting and washing up pots and pans.
• Cleaning crockery & cutlery and ensuring food preparation sites are clean and ready.
• Unloading equipment and food from deliveries.
• Ensuring the storeroom remains organised.
• Making sure work surfaces, floors and walls are always clean and sanitised.
