Sunday, September 29th, 2024

We look forward to welcoming the St Bernadette Relic Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine this September. This is the first visit of the relics of St Bernadette to Ireland. This very special event will provide an opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to experience the special gifts and charisms of Lourdes.

On September 3rd, a ceremony of sending took place at the Grotto in Lourdes, where the Sanctuary of Lourdes entrusted the relics of St Bernadette to the Diocese of Elphin. The relics travelled to Ireland and began their tour of Ireland on September 4th.

The relics of St Bernadette will visit the Cathedral of the Assumption, Tuam, following their visit to Knock Shrine on September 29th.
