The ‘Women of the Well’ Weekend Retreat

Inspired by Jesus’ encounter with the Woman at the Well and other women in the gospels, as well as some of our contemporaries, this retreat for women will allow time for personal, as well as group, prayer and reflection. Come and allow yourselves to be nourished and, as we move from Winter into Spring, to receive the new life which is offered us. This inspirational weekend retreat takes place on Friday 21st February  from 7.30pm to 9pm & Saturday 22 February from 9.30am to 4pm in the Prayer Centre, Knock Shrine.

The theme for the weekend is ‘If you only knew…’

The retreat will be led by Moira McDowall, RLR and Angela Marson.

Moira McDowall is a Sister of La Retraite. Her background in international relations and social justice, retreats and spiritual guidance, leads her to work in a variety of ways with groups and individuals at home and abroad. She is a board member of the Council for Immigrants of the Irish Bishops’ Conference and works as a spiritual companion in Galway where she now lives.

Angela Marson has been involved for the past thirty years in the area of prayer and spirituality in Dublin, Galway and Knock. She is a spiritual companion and retreat giver, and has been co-ordinator of the Knock Prayer Guidance Ministry. Angela is married with three adult children and seven grandchildren.

Date: Friday 21 st February (7.30-9.00pm) & Saturday 22nd (9.30-4pm)
